    In short

A SERP snippet is how your page appears in Google results: a title link, URL and description. Google truncates titles wider than about 600 pixels and descriptions around 920 pixels on desktop. This tool measures pixel width, previews the snippet and checks your focus keyword.

    How to use this tool

    1. 1Write your titlePut the main keyword near the start and your brand at the end.
    2. 2Write your descriptionSummarise the benefit and add a call to action in 140–160 characters.
    3. 3Check both previewsMake sure nothing important is cut off on mobile.
Why does the tool use pixels instead of characters?

Google truncates based on display width, not character count. Wide letters like “W” take more space than “i”, so pixel width is more accurate.

Will Google always use my meta description?

Not always. Google may rewrite descriptions to match a search query. A relevant, well-written description is still used most of the time.

How long should a title tag be?

Around 50–60 characters, or under 600 pixels, usually displays in full on desktop.

Does the meta description affect rankings?

Not directly, but a compelling description improves click-through rate, which brings more traffic.
